Brussels, June 6, 2019 –The partners of Kennedy Executive Search, the global network of privately owned executive search boutiques, proudly announce the transformation of the network into an Economic Interest Group (EIG). Effective immediately, the new legal entity means all partners become equal stakeholders. This allows them to work in true partnership and prepare the network for a bright future.

An EIG is a legal entity for a consortium of related businesses and companies. The structure makes it easier for members to combine their efforts to facilitate and promote their joint economic activities. It is based on the Belgian Groupement d’intérêt économique, (GIE) and is a structure most commonly used in the private sector. As all members are equal partners there is maximum transparency and all decisions are made together and in the open. Founder and Chairman Jorg Stegemann, owner of Apollo Executive / Kennedy Paris: “This way of working reflects what Kennedy was always about. A network striving for partnership, where all are on the same eye level and work together to position the network as a strong player in the world of international executive search and recruitment. With this Kennedy offers clients a personal and boutique approach with true global relevance: The best of both worlds.”

The legal seat of the consortium will be Brussels. “Kennedy feels at home there,” says Carl Lens, Vice Chairman and owner of Lens Executive Search / Kennedy Amsterdam: “Brussels is a significant international hub. Not just as seat of the European Parliament, but historically and still today because of its central location and close links to both the Latin and Northern European nations. And with 30 languages spoken between the partners of our network, a bi-lingual environment is where we prosper.”

Stronger together

Kennedy is no newcomer in the Executive Search scene. The network was founded in 2013. “Since then we have seen some partners come and go,” says Lens. “Most of the current offices have been with us since the early days however, and together with new partners, they make up the core team of Kennedy today. A team of professionals who share the same values and have the same goals and ideas about what the essence of Kennedy should be. Stronger together with a bright future ahead!”
